**Job Position: Internal Sales Consultant (hardware and tools industry)**

**Location: Johannesburg (region F)**

**Salary: R13500 to R18 000 per month month negotiable commensurate with experience and qualification + commission**

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Minimum of Matric
- Must be vaccinated
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the retail sales sector (hardware and tooling)
- Internal sales, outbound and inbound call centre experience
- Good understanding of sales cycle and key account management
- Sound knowledge of the retail sector
- Production knowledge of tool and hardware products
- Good business acumen
- Telephonic skills
- Excellent selling skills
- Ability to build trust and customer loyalty
- Problem solving skills
- Computer literacy - intermediate Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
- Attention to detail and results orientated

**Key performance areas**:

- Ensure yield on revenue sold is at the required level of gross profit
- Increase turnover of existing customers across the entire account base by upselling and cross selling
- Identify opportunities to win business where customers currently favour competitors products
- Ability to negotiate a win/win business solution in meeting clients needs
- Inform customers of new products / brands, promotional campaigns or joint marketing programs and feedback to management
- Research and gather information about potential product ranges
- Ensure knowledge and understanding of clients business
- Achieve call centre productivity targets
- Build trust and confidence with customers through reliable and consistent service
- Resolve complaints and queries effectively
- Attend sales and product knowledge training sessions

**Salary**: R13,500.00 - R18,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg South, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- retail sales sector (hardware and tooling): 3 years (preferred)
- outbound and inbound call centre: 2 years (preferred)
- Internal sales: 2 years (preferred)
- Sound knowledge of the retail sector: 2 years (preferred)
- Product knowledge of tool and hardware: 2 years (preferred)
- Telephonic skills: 1 year (preferred)
- Excellent selling skills: 2 years (preferred)
