Requirements
- Senior Certificate
- A post matric certificate or national diploma in property studies or
related field will be advantageous.
- 4 years’ relevant experience in property management or related
field.
- Supervisory experience will be advantageous
- Specialised knowledge off local government, municipal functions
and related legislation and policies.
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft packages),
- Proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS suite) would be advantageous.
- A valid code EB driver’s license is essential
Key Performance Areas
- Provide effective administration of the data contained in the
immovable property asset register in terms of data capture, data
quality assurance and appropriate dissemination.
- Immovable Property Asset Register system support in the liaison and
collaboration with Property Management Branches and City
Departments on immovable property asset register system design,
testing and maintenance.
- Asset portfolio support to the establishment and management of
portfolios of immovable property assets in order to performance
manage such immovable property assets at a portfolio level.
- General support in coordinating logistic and movable
asset/equipment management; coordinating budget inputs; branch
performance reporting (SDBIP/dashboards); HR resources support;
attending meetings and record discussions; record, review and
maintain documents.
- Implement branch and department communication strategy within
the Property management Department.
