We’re seeking a dynamic, experienced Salon Manager to lead our team and elevate our operations to the next level.

**Role Overview**

As Creative Salon Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our salon—overseeing daily operations, mentoring stylists, and ensuring exceptional client experiences. You’ll bring structure, creativity, and leadership to a team passionate about natural hair care.

**Key Responsibilities**

Operations & Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day salon operations with precision and professionalism
- Implement and maintain structured processes for bookings, inventory, and client management
- Manage salon budgets, expenses, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of hairdressers and assistants
- Conduct regular training sessions and performance reviews
- Create and manage staff schedules to optimize productivity and client satisfaction
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented work environment

Client Experience
- Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction
- Resolve client concerns with empathy and efficiency
- Maintain a welcoming and professional salon atmosphere

Technical Expertise
- Provide expert hairdressing services when needed, specializing in:

- Ethnic natural hair care
- Braiding (box braids, cornrows, twists, knotless braids, crotchet braids etc.)
- Wig and Sew-in installations
- Hair treatments (moisture, protein, scalp care)
- Protective styling and transitioning support

**Requirements**:
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a salon or similar beauty business
- Proven expertise in ethnic natural hair care, braiding, and treatments
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proactive, self-starter with a process-driven mindset
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Comfortable with salon software and digital scheduling tools

**Qualifications**:

- Accredited Hairdressing Certificate or Diploma (e.g., SETA-accredited or equivalent)
- Business Management or Salon Operations training (preferred)
- Health & Safety Certification (advantageous)
- First Aid Certification (optional but valued)
