Creative Hair Stylist

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert styling services for natural hair textures, including:

- Twist-outs, braid-outs, bantu knots, flat twists, and wash-and-go styles
- Protective styles such as box braids, knotless braids, faux locs, cornrows, and crochet braids
- Conduct thorough consultations to understand client needs and hair goals
- Recommend personalized hair care routines and products
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming work space
- Stay updated on trends, techniques, and products in the natural hair industry
- Educate clients on proper maintenance and healthy hair practices
- Uphold salon standards for professionalism, punctuality, cleaniliness and customer service

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience working with natural hair - +5 years (portfolio or client references preferred)
- Cosmetology license or natural hair certification
- Strong knowledge of textured hair care, scalp health, and protective styling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for empowering clients and celebrating natural beauty

Bonus Skills
- Experience with bridal styling or editorial shoots
- Knowledge of holistic hair care or organic product lines
- Social media savvy for showcasing work and engaging with clients

Compensation

Competitive basic hourly rate plus commission on target earnings. Opportunities for bonuses and professional development.
