**Qualifications/Experience Required**:

- Minimum of a Masters-degree in Environmental Management or Environmental Science or an associated specialist field.
- Must be registered with SACNASP and have 10 years experience.
- Extensive experience in specialist assessments including but not limited to; Bio-diversity, Noise and Visual impacts, dispersion modelling, Olfactory assessments, Soil and land capability. Proficiency in supporting software programmes will be highly beneficial.
- Superior knowledge of relevant environmental policies, legislation, guidelines and standards associated with expert and Specialist studies, proven based on project experience and recent training (courses).
- Experience within the mining, agricultural, alternative energy, construction and water use sectors is a requirements.
- Exceptional proficiency in writing detailed and high-quality proposals and reports, with the ability to demonstrate skills upon request and to guide team members through project planning and execution is essential.
- Confident and effective communication skills when engaging with clients, the public and authorities as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and specialists.
- Have the ability to work well in a team environment, as well as the ability to work independently.
- Applicants must be willing to travel and have a driver’s licence and valid passport.
- Experience in the compilation of proposals, quotations and tenders.
- Have the ability to source new work.
