**Purpose of the role**:
As the Warehouse Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination of production schedules, inventory management, and warehouse operations. You will collaborate closely with the production team, warehouse staff, and other departments to ensure that production targets are met efficiently and on time.

**Key Responsibility Areas**:

- Coordinate daily production schedules in alignment with business goals and customer demands.
- Ensure production targets are met within specified deadlines and quality standards.
- Work with the production team to track work orders and ensure material availability.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies.
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff and production operators to optimize productivity.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in all warehouse and production activities.
- Coordinate the movement of materials between the warehouse and production areas.
- Assist with stock checks and audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the production team, warehouse staff, and other departments.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline warehouse and production operations.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production and inventory status.
- Minimum of 2-5 years experience in a warehouse or production role, ideally within a distribution environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and production scheduling software.
- Knowledge of inventory management and production planning principles.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift certification/license.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent health and physical fitness for the demands of the role.

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 (or equivalent); degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
