This is the opportunity that we are leveraging. **About the Division** The Smart Infrastructure division is one of the leading global suppliers of products, systems, solutions and services for the economical, reliable and intelligent transmission and distribution of electrical power. The Division’s portfolio ranges from systems for the low-voltage and distribution power grid level to smart grids and energy automation solutions to power supplies for industrial plants and high-voltage transmission systems. **About the Business Unit** The Grid Software Business Unit is a recent restructuring within the SI division to allow Siemens to unify our various Grid Software portfolio product and solutions to our customers, typically DSO’s and TSO’s to transition to an agile IT/OT landscape for the full grid life cycle: This will include: a full planning, operating & maintenance view of their grid; a full, modular software product portfolio. Deep IT & OT grid domain expertise from a team of 2,400 people - constantly updating innovations. There are 5 portfolio elements: MDMS, Grid Simulation. Grid Control, PTI consulting and Grid Edge. **About the role** Portfolio Sales Professionals will act as the sales entrepreneurs in their region for their assigned product(s). They leverage knowledge of both the local market and the product portfolio to develop and drive sales initiatives through all channels - both direct and indirect. This role is all about the future of energy monitoring and control you will make an important contribution to the energy transition and digitalization of tomorrow. As a Portfolio Sales Professional (Grid Control), you will be responsible for managing the Sales activities and developing new business areas in the grid control solutions business. You will ensure the systematic expansion of market shares with target customers (independent of the sales channel) through independent acquisition and in close coordination with the regional contacts. In addition, you will provide regional market and competitive information and as well as region-specific solution requirements. As a solution provider, you will act at eye level with our customers and regional contacts. Together with the regions / sales units you will develop country specific Go2Market strategies (market / competitive analysis/accounts/acquisition of new customers). Your profile for "making the future possible" requires: Ø A university degree in the fields of Electrical engineering. Business administration or a comparable field will be an advantage. Ø You have at least ten years of relevant professional experience in international sales or in business development in the field of solutions business. Ø You bring industry knowledge from the energy sector, ideally Grid Control with you. Ø You are familiar with the relevant standards, market structures and conditions as well as the behaviour of the competition. Ø Social media networking and the use of digital tools is not a big challenge for you. Ø You have in-depth knowledge in the use of MS Office, especially in the creation of PowerPoint presentations. Ø You present confidently in English and convince your interlocutors of your solutions with your confident manner and analytical skills.
