Job Description: Technical Consultant with Prokon Experience

**This role is remote but based in Gauteng for occasional site visits in and around Gauteng.**

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Consultant with specialized experience in Prokon software to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert-level guidance and support to our clients, ensuring the successful implementation and utilization of Prokon solutions. Your strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication skills will be pivotal in driving successful client engagements and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Prokon Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Prokon software, including Prokon Structural Analysis and Design modules. Be proficient in utilizing the software for structural engineering analysis, design, and detailing tasks.

2. Client Consultation: Interact directly with clients to understand their unique requirements and challenges. Analyze their structural engineering projects and recommend appropriate Prokon solutions to meet their specific needs.

3. Implementation and Training: Oversee the successful implementation of Prokon software within client organizations. Provide training sessions and workshops to educate clients on the software's functionalities and best practices.

4. **Technical Support**: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to Prokon software. Respond to client queries promptly and effectively, ensuring mínimal downtime and maximum productivity.

6. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest developments and advancements in Prokon software and related structural engineering technologies. Provide feedback to the development team for software improvements and enhancements.

8. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and validation of Prokon solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

9. Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with clients to understand their evolving needs and identify opportunities for upselling or expanding the usage of Prokon software.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.

2. Proven experience working as a Technical Consultant or in a similar role, with a focus on Prokon software.

3. Expert-level knowledge of Prokon Structural Analysis and Design modules, along with proficiency in other relevant Prokon tools.

4. Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and practices.

5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.

6. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.

8. Customer-oriented approach with a strong focus on client satisfaction.

9. Willingness to travel for on-site client engagements if necessary.

Nice to have experience:
1. Prokon software certifications.

2. Previous experience in conducting training sessions and workshops.

3. Familiarity with other structural engineering software tools is a plus.
