**About Rocketlead**

Rocketlead is a dynamic marketing and lead generation company helping brands and businesses accelerate growth through intelligent strategy, performance marketing, and technology. We’re looking for a results-driven **SEO Specialist/Manager** to manage and enhance our search engine performance across multiple brands and clients, with a specific focus on executive search and financial services recruitment sectors.

**Role Overview**

As the **SEO Specialist**, you will be responsible for conducting a full SEO analysis, implementing a robust optimization strategy, managing SEO-related plugins, and ensuring the website’s structure and content are fully optimized for organic search visibility.
You’ll work directly with decision-makers and senior stakeholders within Rocketlead, with the opportunity to influence long-term digital growth strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. SEO Initial Analysis & Implementation**
- Perform comprehensive site audits to identify technical and on-page SEO issues.
- Optimize website structure, meta tags, headings, image alt text, and internal linking.
- Recommend whether a full site revamp or targeted improvements would yield the best ROI.
- Manage and optimize SEO-related plugins (e.g., RankMath, Yoast, or AIOSEO).
- Track and report key SEO metrics and progress using analytics tools.

**2. SEO Strategy & Growth**
- Develop and execute a keyword strategy focused on **executive search** and **financial services recruitment**.
- Build a sustainable content and backlinking strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor search trends, algorithm updates, and AI-driven changes (e.g., AI Search Overviews) to maintain and improve rankings.
- Advise on content structure and optimization opportunities across all digital assets.

**3. Website Optimization**
- Ensure all web content aligns with SEO best practices and keyword intent.
- Implement technical fixes (site speed, mobile optimization, broken links, sitemaps, etc.).
- Collaborate with the web and content teams to ensure alignment between SEO and user experience.
- Provide clear, actionable reports and insights to stakeholders.

**Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required)**
- Working knowledge of **social media management** and **LinkedIn optimization**.
- Familiarity with **Google Ads** and **Google Analytics**.
- Experience with **content strategy**, **schema markup**, or **local SEO**.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- 2-4 years of proven SEO experience (agency or in-house).
- Strong understanding of SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.).
- Proficient in managing SEO plugins on WordPress and more.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage ongoing weekly tasks (approx. 8-10) hours per week).

**Compensation**
- R10 000 per month
