**Purpose of Role**:
The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation has a vision of an entrepreneurial, equitable South Africa, flourishing with meaningful employment and a mission to foster a community of responsible entrepreneurs.

To provide administrative support to the Allan Gray Entrepreneurship Challenge (AGEC) Project Lead and assist in Campaigning activities.

**Objectives of Role**:
**1. Administrative Support**:

- Assist in managing administrative tasks related to the Allan Gray Entrepreneurship Challenge.
- Organize and maintain documentation, including project files, contracts, and correspondence.
- Schedule meetings, arrange appointments, and manage calendars for key events.
- Assist in budget tracking for events.

**2. Capacity Building**:

- Provide assistance to the AGEC team in managing tasks and deadlines.
- Assist in coordinating and tracking deliverables across various projects.
- Conduct research and compile reports as needed to support decision-making.
- Support the AGEC team in monitoring project progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth project operations.

**3. Events and Program Planning**:

- Assist in planning and organizing events related to the Allan Gray Entrepreneurship Challenge.
- Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual requirements.
- Assist in developing event timelines, agendas, and guest lists.
- Support event promotion and marketing efforts through various channels.
- Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and attendee assistance.

**4. Marketing Support**:

- Assist in developing marketing materials, including flyers, posters, and digital content.
- Support social media management efforts.
- Assist in drafting and proofreading marketing copy for various channels.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Min of 3 years of Experience
- Undergraduate Degree

**Competencies**:

- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with event planning tools and software is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic work environment.
