Operations Manager

You will be responsible for but not limited to:
Supervision / monitoring of factory operations to ensure productivity, quality, and safety
Stockyard and the loading of manufactured products
Cost control: Raw material & Wastage (Expenses vs budget)
Staff: Two shifts, 5 supervisors - manage overtime
Production driven ensure daily, weekly and monthly targets are met. Planning & casting as well as lane stripping
Management and communication to ensure that supervisors, operators and labourers understand the requirements of the daily tasks which have been assigned to them
Capturing and reporting of daily progress
OHS management ensuring the factory is managed in safe manner
**Education / Qualification**:
Diploma / Degree (Engineering / Production Management / Operations Management)
At least 10 years’ relevant experience either in a similar role construction manager at a reputable construction company
Knowledge of concrete, formwork, reinforcing steel and pre-tension steel
Preferred knowledge of mechanical equipment including, saw cutting machines, hydraulic jacks and overhead cranes
Proficiency using MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint
Own transport & drivers licence essential
This position is available immediately. Basic salary on offer + benefits after 3 months’ probation

**Salary**: R50,000.00 - R55,000.00 per month
