Job description

**Essential Functions**:

- To handle the team of security officers that are assigned to them
- To Arrange all the shifts weekly offs, leaves etc for them.
- To assign security officers their duties and they themselves must be in charge of monitoring.
- Maintain law and order in area of jurisdictions
- To make inspection and cover all the vulnerable spots.
- To make surprise inspection to see if all security officers are in their assigned places
- Respond to alarms and distress calls
- Ensure that all security systems are working properly
- Look out for suspicious people, vandalism, or hazards
- Assigns work areas for officers to patrol and conduct routine patrols with the team
- Protect people and property
- If any incidents do take place, Supervisors must inform the authorities, so no legal problems take place in the future.
- Confers with staff and worker to ensure production and personnel problems are resolved.
- Analyses and resolves worker problems and recommends motivational plans.
- Prepare reports as when they needed
- Ensure that employees wear their uniform and report for duty on time all the time.
- Records information, such as personnel, production, and operational data, on specified forms and reports.
- Train new security officers regarding all the security protocols of Sakhile Ezweni
Recommends measures to improve production methods and equipment performance to increase efficiency and safety.
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Supervisor’s course or necessary experience.
- Grade A or B Psira
- Setting goals and objectives; Delegating; Providing assistance and support; Providing a climate for motivation; Creating a supportive working relationship; Emphasizing continuing development; Providing opportunities for future growth and advancement; Setting goals and objectives.
