Systems & Technology Integration Manager

**What you’ll have done before**:

- Baseline:
- NQF Level 7 Degree/BTech in Transport/Logistics/Supply Chain and/or equivalent.
- Relevant IT Systems knowledge/training - Formal IT qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Logistics/Distribution system design and implementation.
- Experience in Distribution/Operations business processes
- Good working knowledge of Fuel-Facs system
- Database management and in-depth technical IT experience
- Advantageous:
- Post Grad Degree in Transport/Logistics/Supply Chain
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and other related IT system.
- Transport and distribution operations
- Technical IT background

**What You’ll be doing**:

- FUEL-FACS SYSTEM:
- Provide Frontline support for all Fuel Facs and interface related queries from all the depots (24/7)
- Monitor interface iDOCs that have failed while processing. Investigate reasons and advise depots of appropriate corrective action.
- Assist the depots with inventory management procedures - ensure the depots use the Fuel Facs TAS functionality to manage inventory.
- Maintain training materials and facilitate training of the depot staff on the interfaces and procedures in Fuel Facs - Business Application FBS (Facility Business Service) and CBS (Central Business Service), Fuel Facs Import, etc.
- Maintaining Fuel Facs operating procedures to ensure alignment with business SOP’s
- Updating, maintaining, and ensuring accuracy of all master data (Vehicles and drivers) interfacing from SAP
- Monitoring of Fuel Facs calls logged with both the Engen Helpdesk and Support Service Provider Helpdesk, ensuring speedy resolution and escalation.
- Initiating and monitoring of enhancements to be done in SAP (via CR’s) in Fuel-Facs
- Identify potential problems in the Fuel-Facs environment using the various management reports/transactions available
- Support ERA and Forensics with Fuel Facs audits and forensic analysis at all depots
- Monitor the system maintenance tasks and ensure regular backups are performed on the Fuel Facs servers
- FF system maintenance (purging, log clean ups, stored procedures, etc.)
- Liaison between Engen and support vendor
- Testing and updating OFFLINE procedures
- Undertake user acceptance testing and facilitate enhancements to the system
- Monitor unprocessed data to and from Fuel Facs to SAP
- Disaster Recovery preparation and testing
- iCAM Vehicle Satellite Tracking System (In vehicle Monitoring System)- Manage user access
- SNOW:
- Call logging (Incident and service request)
- Call analysis to identify call repeat patterns and failures to implement solutions.
- Reporting (Managing calls and SLA’s)
- Managing access to various systems
- ORION and SHORTREC Scheduling Systems:
- Manage user access
- GENERAL:
- Managing user access profiles to logistics and distribution IT systems
- Facilitate / Managing database backups and restore procedures
- Managing and facilitate vendors supporting Engen L&D Business IT systems
- Conduct user acceptance testing for enhancement and system implementation
- Manage monthly outage with IS to minimize impact on operations (Outage Sunday)
