**Marketing & Events Manager - Cape Town**

Our Client is a mixed-use property development in Cape Town combining office, retail, residential and leisure components in an integrated, stimulating and aesthetically pleasing urban environment. They are looking for a Brand & Marketing Manager who will be Responsible for the management and implementation of all brand and marketing activities including events.

Key responsibilities include:

- Manage and control integrity of the brand(s)
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders and foster community spirit and ethos
- Maintain and grow a database of all stakeholders i.e. property owners, tenants, businesses
- Collaborate and manage in-house design and digital/social media team to produce creative systems and campaigns that communicate with clarity and consistency
- Manage, maintain and expand existing events calendars
- Ensure marketing, publicity and advertising strategies in line with events management are fulfilled, and communicated to all stakeholders and participants
- Manage and facilitate on site film and photo
- Assist Communications Manager with strategy and execution of PR campaigns including the production of the magazine
- Conceptualise, develop and manage various projects and events

Key Competencies Required:
Ø A relative tertiary qualification in marketing

Ø A minimum of 5 years related experience in marketing, PR and event management

Ø Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ø Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns

Ø Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills

Ø Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity

Ø Experience with marketing automation, social media, CRM & CMS tools

Ø Superb interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Ø Data analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making

Ø Creativity, adaptability and familiar with current marketing trends

Ø Ability to lead and inspire confidence across all team members of varying marketing functions.

Ø Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills

Ø Project management skills, like goal-setting and deadline management

Ø Great organization, time management and prioritization abilities

Ø Comfortable in high-pressure and fast-paced environments

Ø Strong work ethic and positive “can do” attitude

**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R35,000.00 per month
