Job description
- Providing a full debtors function on all Key Accounts.
- Allocating receipts on Key Accounts.
- Reconciling age to statement and age to GL balancing.
- Producing monthly debtors reports for management packs.
- Matching receipts from debtors and balancing them to general ledger.
- Compiling bad debt assessment on a monthly basis and managing external debt collection.
- Reporting on debtors outstanding and implementing action plans to reduce debtors days.
- Ensure that payments received and reflecting on our bank statement (pulled daily) are receipted accurately to correct customer accounts, and allocated to relevant invoices
- Daily manual invoice / credit notes requests to be captured as per instruction from other departments
- Follow up on short payments/outstanding queries/outstanding
- Collection of payments and age analysis review
- Management of customer accounts through reconciling, customer liaison and query resolutions
- A BComm Accounting, National Credit Management or recognised Bookkeeping or related qualification is essential for this role.
- Previous experience having worked in a similar position
- Must have advanced Excel skills, including reading and writing formulae.
- Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to proactively problem solve and have strong analytical skills.
- Must have knowledge of and experience in various computer packages such Pastel Evolution(advantageous)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R14,500.00 - R16,000.00 per month
