- Prepare and lock out the roller crusher and jaw crusher respectively
- Replace defective gearbox on the roller crusher and defective rubber couplings of roller crusher
- Replace defective crusher plates of roller crusher and defective crusher rollers bearings
- Replace defective crusher roller bearings and defective fly wheels on jaw crusher
- Prepare and lock out pump equipment
- Disassemble and rebuild the agitator unit
- Prepare and lock out the vibrating screen and mixer respectively
- Replace and align defective v-belts on the mixer
- Identify faulty or defective gearboxes and drive shafts and couplings and repair those
- Identify faulty chains and sprockets and repair those
- Identify faulty pneumatic supply system components & faulty parts on conveyor belt units; screw conveyor and elevators
- Identify faulty or damaged equipment on the compressors and air receivers and compressors cooling system
- Maintaining the hydraulic system by Identifying faulty equipment on the hydraulic circuit
- Identifying faulty equipment on the gas piping system
- Identify faulty equipment on the overhead crane and on the tippler
- Test the hoisting and lowering mechanism

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Grade12/N3
- Qualified Artisan
- 3 years relevant experience
- Fitter trade test
