**Job Overview**:
The position will be based in Wadeville, and the incumbent will report to the Interventions Manager: Aftermarket

**Job Specification (not totally inclusive)**:

- Maintain safety (SHE) standards at all times;
- Assist workers with job problem solving;
- Safe and on-time delivery on machines;
- Ensure correct and applicable use of and proper control of personnel protective equipment (PPE);
- Always maintain quality workmanship;
- Ensure proper timekeeping;
- Fabricate as per OEM drawings and weld as per standard;
- Manage overtime;
- As far as practical and reasonable, assist in ensuring that all areas both inside and outside of the workshop are kept neat, clean and in safe condition with everything kept in designated areas;
- Promote continuous improvement by identifying and facilitating the implementation of new ideas processes and/or methods, by reporting it to the Line Manager;
- Overtime work is required from time to time;
- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products;
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay;
- Determine equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand;
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget;
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption;
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports;
- Collaborate with production managers to ensure optimum productivity and the timely completion of orders.

**Minimum Skills required**:

- Trade Test Qualification Red Seal: Electrician/Fitter;
- Fault finding Electrical/Mechanical skills and experience in the mining industry environment;
- Valid Driver’s License and own reliable transport;
- Understand OEM drawings;
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams).

**Behavioural Competencies required**:

- Must be self-driven and disciplined;
- Be able to work without supervision when required;
- Strong customer service orientation;
- Team mentality - working as part of a bigger team towards achieving common goals and understanding of the effects of sound engineering discipline on the KMC business.
