**Introduction**:
**Job description**:

- Ensure daily supply of material to subordinates teams.
- Monitor Equipment availability, utilization and equipment.
- Oversee contractors.
- Manage budget control and focusing.
- Maintain asset register.
- Adhere to maintenance schedules.
- Ensure environmental management in place.
- Plan, schedule and control activities to ensure availability of resources, to meet daily targets.
- Risk identification and mitigation in compliance with DMR, M&RC and Client’s safety requirements.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent.
- Section 26 Recognised/Equivalent Trade Certificate
- Mine based technical certifications (e.g. Basic Hydraulics and Basic Rigging 3ton)
- Supervisory certificate.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Planning and organising skills.
- Good English verbal and written communication skills.
- At least 10 years practical experience in the mining industry, appointed in a legal position.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a Foreman supervisory level capacity.
- Experience in writing procedures from issue based risk assessments.
- At least 3 years practical experience on TMM’s.
- At least 3 years in mining construction
