Healthcare Relations Facilitator

La Vie is a private group of sub-acute hospitals and frail care facilities dedicated to providing the highest quality, personalized care to each individual resident within a homely and nurturing environment.
The primary responsibilities of this position include developing and maintaining relationships with hospitals, particularly ward and case management staff, to ensure La Vie is viewed favourably when patients have to be transitioned to a sub-acute hospital. Additionally, the role involves leading community outreach programs to raise awareness of our frail care nursing homes in the area.
**Responsibilities**:
- Establish and nurture relationships with hospital ward staff, case managers, doctors, and healthcare professionals to promote La Vie services through regular visits to local hospitals.
- Develop innovative strategies to attract patients requiring physical rehabilitation services to our hospitals.
- Coordinate and lead community outreach programs to raise awareness of our frail care nursing homes in the area.
- Prepare and present professional presentations to potential clients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual targets for patient referrals and admissions.
- Collaborate with the La Vie Health Group team to develop and improve marketing materials and strategies.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and other networking events to establish a strong presence in the market.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
**Requirements**:
- Background in the medical industry, preferably with experience in nursing or case management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare, preferably with some background in marketing, sales, or business development.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong networking abilities with the capacity to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule, including the ability to travel within the designated area.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
- Knowledge of South African healthcare market and regulatory requirements is a plus.
La Vie offers a competitive base salary package with the option to earn additional commission.
