- Managing and driving all route planning of all inhouse and outsourced vehicles
- Managing all third-party transport companies ensuring that their rates and delivery times are met.
- Handling and ensuring that all daily recons of stock is delivered correctly.
- Conducting annual rate discussions with supplier companies as well as diesel rate adjustments.
- Authorising and confirming all third-party transportation invoices.
- Managing and presenting daily analysis of transportation budget progress for various branches and departments within the company.
- Sourcing new and managing existing transporters
- Monitoring of all OTIF deliveries to mines and clients.
- Ensuring that all paperwork for cross border vehicles are correct and updated.
- Managing and presenting daily analysis of tonnage deliveries and transport costs to senior management.
- Managing and adjusting stock requirements from mines.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Previous experience having worked in a distribution / transport role managing and driving unprocessed mining material from the mines to port and customer
- Previous experience working within the mining industry is preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience having dealt and managed outsourced transport and distribution companies is essential for the role.
- Must be able to handle all recons of stock and various administration as well as all transport routes and distribution operations as well.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must be computer literate with intermediate excel experience being able to do pivot tables.
