Our Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Laptop and Desktop Hardware Technician to join their computer refurbishment business. As a hardware technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and replacing laptop, desktop, and all-in-one hardware components.

**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnosing and troubleshooting laptop, desktop, and all-in-one hardware issues.
- Repairing and replacing hardware components such as hard drives, memory, motherboards, screens, keyboards, etc.
- Installing and configuring software, drivers, and operating systems.
- Maintaining accurate records of repairs, including parts used and time spent.
- Making sure that processed ICT equipment meets quality control standards and has been graded accordingly.
- Ensuring that processed devices are captured into Fincon or relevant inventory system.
- Adhering to safety protocols and measures, including electrical safety and proper handling of equipment.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant technical training and certifications in laptop and desktop hardware repair and maintenance.
- Proven experience as a laptop and desktop hardware technician, with a track record of successful repairs
- Strong technical knowledge of laptop, desktop, and all-in-one hardware components and their functions
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a logical and analytical approach.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively.
- Knowledge of various hardware tools and equipment used for repair.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability and ability to work with different models and hardware configurations.
