Supervisor

**JOB SUMMARY**

The employee will ensure effective and accurate management of the production facility within the warehouse. Conduct daily scoring, cycle counts, and annual stock takes within the warehouse. To adhere to stock policies and procedures and ensure strict control of inventory with a goal to minimize stock losses and improve inventory accuracy and reporting on all stock related issues.

**MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS**

**1.** The employee will ensure effective and accurate management of the production facility within the warehouse to ensure day to day operational activities are carried out.

**2.** Ensure all resources are available (workforce, equipment, etc.)

**3.** Ensure competency and relevant licenses of all staff placed under you.

**4.** Complete relevant documentation and capture evidence of load.

**5.** To maintain FIFO at all times in the warehouse.

**6.** Daily scoring of production per shift - ensuring the scores tie up to what was produced.

**7.** Monitor and controlling that ware is picked from the correct BIN on SAP at all times - ensuring SAP balance back to physical stock at all times

**8.** Conducting Job off counts / Recons

**9.** Reconciling the put away slips and ensuring that the warehouse was stacked correctly.

**10.** Monitor and maintain all quality related stock ensuring that it is not picked and dispatched to customers.

**11.** Ensure B7 forms are issued, in the event of resort ware being scored.

**12.** Rework damaged pallets to be moved to relevant locations on SAP as per Put-away.

**13.** Communicate all information on pallets on quality hold to relevant personnel.

**14.** Ensure all quality related stock are isolated on floor and moved to restricted ware in SAP. (QA Hold).

**15.** Responsible to maintain housekeeping in the warehouse.

**16.** To create an efficient working environment through clear communication

**17.** Address deviations with parties at fault. Consult with the HR Department as and when required.

**18.** Conduct daily operational meetings (Toolbox Talks)

**19.** Other ad hoc duties

**Minimum Requirements and Experiences**
- Relevant NQF 6 qualifications (supply chain, management, etc.)
- National Certificate (NQF 6) in Warehousing Operations will be advantageous.
- Grade 12 (NQF 4) with Mathematics - Essential
- Experience in CONSOL’s systems and SAP WMS will be advantageous
- Own transport with a valid code 8 Drivers license or reliable transportation - Essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supervisory/Team.
- Able to communicate (read and write) effectively in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be physically fit and have a valid fitness to work certificate
