Property Host

We’re looking for a **dedicated and personable Property Host** to be the face of our operations in Hermanus. In this role, you’ll ensure each property is spotless, well-maintained, and ready to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You’ll handle everything from guest communication and check-ins to coordinating cleaning and maintenance, making sure every stay runs smoothly.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Guest Support**: Act as the main point of contact for guests during their stay, respond promptly to queries, resolve issues, and provide local recommendations.
- **Property Management**: Conduct regular inspections, oversee cleaning schedules, and ensure all safety features are functioning.
- **Enhancing the Experience**: Add personal touches like welcome packs and local guides, gather feedback, and go the extra mile to create memorable stays.
- **Maintenance Coordination**: Handle minor repairs, arrange professional services when needed, and report issues to the portfolio manager.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in hospitality, property management, or customer service (short-term rental experience preferred).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple properties.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have your own cleaning staff and manage them to maintain high turnover standards.

**Contract Details**:
This is an **independent contractor role** with flexibility to manage your own schedule and cleaning team. Compensation is on a per-property basis.
