**Facilities Manager**

Award winning World Class 5* Luxury Game Lodges & Retreats - Mpumalanga - Limpopo, Cape Town, Zimbabwe - Head Office Parktown Gauteng

Facilities Manager looks after all services that help a business perform its core business without interruptions. Covering security, cleaning, IT systems, gardens, physical infrastructure maintenance, lodge support services, service level agreements, to ensure that they all meet business, guest, customer, and employer & employee needs.

KEY FOCUS AREAS
- Make sure all teams achieve set KPIs,
- Overseeing the agreed contracts with service providers (internal & external) including security, cleaning, waste management, housekeeping, IT systems, and physical infrastructure maintenance work.
- Supervising the performance, monitoring & evaluation of multi-disciplinary teams including cleaning, maintenance, grounds, and security.
- Ensuring that facilities support services, such as water, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, are well-maintained
- Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Managing work programs and space between buildings.
- Ensuring facilities support services are compliant with set regulations (OHSA).
- Energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness management.
- Overseeing building projects, renovations, or refurbishments when necessary.
- Submitting monthly operations reports and making written recommendations.

REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Grade 12 (essential)
- Degree/Diploma Facilities Management or equivalent (advantageous)
- SAFMA Accredited Facilities Manager/ Certified Facilities Professional a must.
- Good all-round with planned maintenance systems for hotels, apartments
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical, problem-solving skills and good decision-making skills
- Good teamwork approach and ability to lead and manage teams and projects.
- Attention to detail ability to see the implications for the bigger picture.
- Good Customer service skills, organizational & time management.
- A good knowledge of IT packages (reports, computer literacy).

Salary R 35 000 - R 40 000 - Med Aid & Provident Fund

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Planned Maintenance system: 8 years (preferred)
- water, electrical, mechanical, HVAC maintenance: 8 years (preferred)
- all-round maintenance systems for Hotels & 5* Game Lodges: 8 years (preferred)
