Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring Specialist

**Requirements**:

- A Minimum of 4 years’ experience as an operations and monitoring specialist
- Proven experience working with AWS cloud services, including ECS, EC2, RDS, VPC, Lambda, Cloudwatch
- Extensive hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, ElasticSearch
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls, as they relate to cloud environments
- Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration and scripting languages such as Python or Bash

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement, and manage monitoring solutions for our cloud infrastructure, primarily utilizing AWS services such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config
- Develop and configure custom monitoring metrics, alerts, and dashboards to track the health, availability, and performance of various AWS resources
- Collaborate with the engineering and DevOps teams to define and implement best practices for monitoring and alerting across the entire cloud environment
- Perform regular system and resource utilization analysis to identify performance bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and potential security vulnerabilities
- Investigate and troubleshoot any reported issues related to infrastructure performance, stability, or availability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve incident response
processes, ensuring timely resolution of incidents
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team, assisting in their professional growth and development
