Machine Operator: Packaging

**Main responsibilities of Focus Area**
- Record waste and movement of product on the appropriate documentation or information systems
- Operate machine and equipment according to the work instructions
- Carry out the required quality checks and analyses, and record the results on the appropriate information system
- Constantly review process performance against target, and recording short stops and correcting any out of controls
- Carry out autonomous operations as defined for the packaging areas
- Assist the Maintenance Technician in executing running repairs on shift

**Minimum Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**:
Matric (Technical or with Maths and Science) Mechanical aptitude is preferred
- Ability to speak English
- Ability to lift heavy equipment
- Must have some experience in FMCG environment
- Must have relevant Trade qualification

**Skills/Competencies Required**:

- A logical, analytical problem solver
- High level of initiative and energy
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment
- Wiling to work shifts assigned according to the schedule
- Work in teams
- Good Record Keeping
