**About the position**:

In this role, you will be running technologically advanced, high-speed manufacturing equipment and collaborating with new or junior team members to do their best work safely. **Main Responsibilities**:

- Follow safe operating practises when operating machine, by ensuring guarding is in place and follow works instructions.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and hygiene in the department and follow 5S Housekeeping principles.
- Operate the section of the asset to manufacture product according to specifications and to ensure quality compliance.
- Perform modular process Pit stop duties in-line with prescribed guidelines.
- Reports and informs team leader of any engineering or operational non-conformances, i.e. Wearable/broken parts.
- Participate in problem solving techniques to ensure machine efficiencies.
- Ensure that all materials used complies with the Quality Management System and within required specifications.
- Knows the values of the main performance indicators (MDH, Waste, Delay, Number of stops and % Quality) of the machine to which assigned.
- Record quality information on prescribed documentations.
- Assist with Maintenance and Grade Changes on Assets.
- Attend pre shift hand over meetings.

**About You**

As a manufacturing professional, you deliver high value to your team by operating equipment at expected performance levels, and acting as a team player to exceed safety, productivity and quality goals. _You also _
- Grade 12 or N3 qualification.
- Prior high-speed production machine operating experience will be advantageous.
- Basic technical knowledge.
