Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair has a vacancy for a
**Warehouse Controller **based at
**Cape Town International Airport.** The successful applicant will report to the
**Manager: Supply Chain.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Conduct inspections on incoming parts to ensure compliance with Work Instructions and handling deviations accordingly i.e. quarantine, return etc.;
- Responsible for managing spares movements between JHB and other stations, as well as ensuring that capturing of all data is done timeously on the stock management system to ensure accurate information is available at all times;
- Binning of parts into respective areas needs to be done as soon as they are received to ensure compliance with Work Instructions;
- Conduct weekly cycle counts as well as other random counts to ensure stock accuracy is maintained. Full stock counts will also be done;
- Picking and routing of parts from bins to fulfil maintenance requests in hangars or outstations;
- Will be required to assist with Tool store duties from time to time;
- Will be responsible for tools and other equipment in the warehouse;
- Responsible to manage shelf lifed items for tools and consumables as prescribed by Work Instructions;
- Carry out general warehouse duties as requested by supervisor;
- Ensure access to warehouse is controlled at all times;
- Daily reporting will be done after each shift or Adhoc reporting as is required;
- Assist with all queries on spares in the warehouse;
- Assisting and monitoring of scrap and quarantine stores together with supervisor;
- Accurate record keeping and filing of all relevant documentation pertaining to spares movements needs to be done;
- Creating of documentation for shipping purposes (COMAT) as well as packaging as per general practise or as required by Work Instructions will be done;
- Housekeeping to be done daily and a high level of cleanliness to be maintained;
- Vehicle inspections to be done on warehouse vehicles or equipment prior to use daily;
- Stock levels to be monitored during picking and low levels to be monitored and advised to supervisor.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Grade 12;
- 1 to 2 years warehouse experience;
- Must have a valid driver’s license;
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook);
- Must be willing to work shifts.
