- Advise and assist on cost and plant accounting policies and procedures
- Verify that transactions are recorded accurately and timeously
- Adherence to internal procedures and deadlines
- Assist with stock counts and advise on capturing system transactions
- Assist with material consumption verification and checks when required
- Liaise with applicable departments on BOM's to ensure accurate and review as required
- Analyse margin tolerance % on NAV and notify or make recommendations on specific alerts
- Site cost analysis in support of Finance, Operations and Commercial
- Inventory management (cycle counts, write offs, reconciliations, BOM, variance analysis, Audit, consumption reporting)
- Prepare, Control and Analyse annual site budgets - liaising with various departments
- Prepare and Analyse annual Actual and Budget Costing schedules and maintain work center costs
- Performs stock revaluations based on costing schedules
- Ensures the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports as required by local and corporate management are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Partners with Commercial Controller to ensure costs are recovered from customers.
- Partners with CTO controller.
- Provide the controlling manager insight into key performance indicators to explain cost deviations.
- Develop with controlling Manager internal controls and ensures compliance of internal control policies and procedures.
- Managing the relationship between the plant and accounting to ensure all month end closing entries have been posted and are correctly allocated in the designated ERP.
- Assist with Implementation and Maintenance of ERP systems (D365, CSD’s etc)
- Monitoring of masterdata
- Calculation of costings in utilising agreed methodologies.
- Advise and assist departments on cost accounting policies and procedures

**What makes you great**:

- Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on management
- accounting.
- 3-5 years of experience in Financial Analysis and/or controlling.
- Costing and analysis background
- Manufacturing experience is an advantage
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Strong Analytical and Project Management skills
- Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
- Strong Team working and Networking skills
- Proficient in Excel
