Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes- A Master's degree in a higher education or health professions field (or in the process of studying towards one), **OR** a Bachelor's degree **AND** a postgraduate diploma in instructional design /information technology / educational technology;Two years' relevant working experience at a higher education institution within the field of blended learning design;-
- Experience in academic development in higher education with regards to educational technologies and blended learning approaches;-
- Experience and proficiency in the use and support of a Learning Management System as well as other learning technologies;-
- Proven digital design experience (e.g., videos, SCORMs, podcasts, interactive digital content);-
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., the Moodle learning management system, the Microsoft Office suite, Adobe suite, Camtasia, and iSpring);-
- Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills;-
- Strong interpersonal skills in the context of a team;-
- The creativity to develop digital learning modules that are understandable, interactive and engaging;-
- Passion and integrity with the drive to deliver projects on time.**_

Recommendation/Aanbeveling- A Master's degree in Health Professions Education;- A qualification or experience in programming or coding;- Experience with the development of gamification in higher education contexts;- Experience in educational research;- Knowledge of more than one official South African language.
