**Key Responsibilities**:
**Planning and Managing Logistics**:
Oversee the entire logistics process, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.

Develop and implement strategies to optimise logistics operations.

Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure a smooth supply chain.

**Supply Chain Coordination**:
Coordinate and manage the movement of goods and materials from suppliers to manufacturers to consumers.

Work with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.

Ensure compliance with laws and regulations for shipping and logistics.

**Inventory and Warehouse Management**:
Manage warehouse operations, ensuring proper storage and tracking of products.

Develop inventory control strategies to prevent overstocking or shortages.

Implement software or systems to improve inventory accuracy.

**Budgeting and Cost Control**:
Monitor and control logistics costs, including transportation, warehousing, and packaging.

Negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers to secure cost-effective contracts.

Analyse logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities.

**Team Management**:
Supervise logistics staff, including warehouse workers, drivers, and dispatchers.

Develop training programs to enhance team performance and ensure safety protocols are followed.

**Performance Monitoring and Reporting**:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, inventory accuracy, and shipping costs.

Prepare regular reports for upper management on the status of logistics operations.

Use data analysis to make informed decisions and improve logistics efficiency.

**Problem-solving and Crisis Management**:
Address and resolve issues that may arise in the supply chain, such as delivery delays, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies.

Develop contingency plans to handle potential disruptions.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

Experience: Several years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics software SAGE, ZOHO, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to optimise logistics operations.

Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

Problem-solving: Ability to quickly address logistics challenges and develop efficient solutions.

Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage teams and foster collaboration.

Pay: R30 000,00 - R50 000,00 per month

**Experience**:
