Apply for the Supply Planner role at RCL FOODS in the Groceries Division . The position is based in Randfontein, Gauteng and reports to the Supply Chain Manager . The Supply Planner will develop and execute short- and long-term supply plans for finished goods, packaging, and ingredients, balancing forward forecasts against supply constraints to optimize service levels at minimal cost while maximizing profitability. Qualifications Relevant degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 3–5 years of operational experience, preferably in production planning. Strong operations processing experience within a supply planning role is advantageous. Knowledge of SAPICS or APICS is preferred. Computer literacy: SAP, Syspro, Barnton, and MS Office. Knowledge & Skills Production planning with a deep understanding of supply chain. Experience with Syspro or similar supply chain planning tools (e.g., Barnton). Proficiency in supply chain principles, practices, and tools. Adequate grasp of Demand Planning principles. Understanding of customer and product priorities. Ability to interpret multiple KPIs and their impact on bottom line. Responsibilities Facilitate integrated supply chain delivery by managing relationships across cross‑functional teams. Develop the national supply plan for assigned processing plants, balancing demand plans against plant capacity for the next 12–18 months. Weekly review of demand, stock cover requirements, and holding positions to guide priorities and allocate stock for distribution. Calculate SKU stock targets using relevant data for the inventory optimization model. Develop the overall supply plan used as input into the company‑wide S&OP process. Coordinate the delivery of innovation into the supply chain, attending meetings and representing the Supply Chain. Manage Supply Chain reporting. Participate in projects driving cost savings or system improvements (e.g., tools). Ensure accurate and timely data capture in SAP, Syspro, Barnton, and shared spreadsheets for reliable reporting and decision making. #J-18808-Ljbffr
