**Overview**

We are in search of a detail-orientated nail/beauty/make up technician to provide clients with high-quality manicures, pedicures, beauty and/or nail treatments. This includes all responsibilities within a full cycle beauty practice and you are expected to generate and maintain a loyal sales pipeline.

**Responsibilities**:

- Beauty related tasks/advice/assistance
- Make-up planning, preparation, design approvals and execution
- Ensure highest of standards are practiced with hygiene and efficiency as a top priority
- Recommending various nail designs and nail art to clients
- Evaluating the condition of clients’ nails and advising them on proper nail care and suitable nail care treatments
- Sanitizing all nail instruments and equipment before and after each use
- Ensuring that workstations are kept clean and orderly
- Providing quality hand and foot massages
- Building long term relationships with customers
- Demonstrate natural product appeal to customers based on our brand and sales strategy
- Calculate, document, manage and communicate customer billings, quotations, invoices, delivery notes and refunds
- Communicate with customers effectively across multiple support channels
- Liaise with the marketing department to develop new sales strategies
- Collaborate and assist with administrative duties
- Ad hoc tasks will be required
- Group assistance will also be required

**Individual Requirements**:

- Proven experience working as a nail technician
- In-depth knowledge of manicure and pedicure techniques
- Experience in Bio Sculpture gel, Rubber base and alternative techniques
- The ability to concentrate for extended periods of time
- Detail-orientated and patient
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Effective communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Fashionista and visual excellence
- Able to work retail/event office/working hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Sales and admin orientated

**Qualifications required**:

- Matric Certificate
- Relevant Tertiary qualification advantageous
- Relevant certificates/achievements advantageous

**Experience required**:

- +3 years of Nail Technician / Lash & Brows Technician / Makeup Artist / Beauty Consultant
- Proven experience in designing visual masterpieces advantageous

**Software Skills**
- CRM experience advantageous
- Advanced Microsoft advantageous
