A four star property based in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Group Reservationist for the hotel's reservations team.

Responsibilities include:

- Planning daily work schedules.
- Handling booking inquiries within 12 - 24 hours.
- Processing member-specific tasks (rooming lists, handovers, daily banking).
- Aiding in achieving monthly revenue targets aligned with the hotel's annual budget.
- Creating bookings in Opera, linking corporate accounts/agencies, and adding billing instructions.
- Updating channel bookings with accurate information.
- Maintaining reports and records for group stays, including post-departure follow-ups.
- Managing escalated reservation queries.
- Supporting team members and contributing to a cohesive team environment.
- Staying informed about hotel events to upsell guest experiences.

**Requirements**:

- Matric qualification; Hotel Management diploma/degree preferred.
- Understanding of revenue and yield management principles.
- Experience in a similar role within a 4*/5* environment.
- Basic accounting skills and ability to work various shifts.
- Proficient in MS Office and Opera.

**Salary**: R18,000.00 per month
