Training and Services Consultant

A dynamic company based in Pretoria in the Insurance Sector is seeking to appoint a Training & Services Consultant in the Eastern Cape (East London) to provide an effective and efficient support to debt councellors and their staff as well as internal training to new sales and admin staff.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Training of newly signed up Debtor Counsellors (DC’s) and their staff members on the current Credit Life insurance products and services, as well as new products and services which are currently being developed.
- Training of newly signed up DC’s and their staff members on the systems and IT processes being used
- Updating, printing, and binding of the relevant training material and presentation packages for new and prospective DC’s.
- Frequent visits to DC’s and their staff.
- Close coordination and cooperation with the Sales and Relationship Managers.
- Minute keeping of own meetings with DC’s and/or their staff members.
- Filing the necessary documentation relevant to initial as well as refresher training of DC’s and their staff.
- Coordinating with IT with regards to creating of new logins for users as well as addressing system issues.
- Managing own monthly weekly and daily targets.
- Drafting of weekly and monthly reports.
- Adhering to the correct company procedures.
- Responsible to reach personal target with respect to the number of CLI clients being signed up monthly.
- Spend time with DC’s and their staff members to be available when new CLI clients are being signed up, until they are comfortable with the system and processes.
- Convince DC’s to sign over their existing books, to our company.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion of all information.
- Always Establishing and maintaining a professional relationship with all DC’s and their staff members.
- Must be willing to travel extensively at times.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and own transport.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 or Higher Qualifications.
- RE5 qualification would be advantageous.
- Proven work experience of at least 5 years as a Training Consultant.
- Knowledge of Office Management Systems and Procedures.
- Knowledge of the Credit Life Insurance and short-term insurance industry would be advantageous.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
- Above average computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
Skills Requirements
- Ability to communicate well in English and Afrikaans (written and oral).
- Ability to function without direct supervision.
- Ability to arrange training sessions in person and remote locations (via digital platforms).
- Ability to handle customers and clients in a professional manner with tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to keep information confidential.
- Ability to work in a proactive manner without constant direct supervision.
- Ability to be very flexible at all times.
- Ability to take own initiative when necessary.
- Punctuality.
- Self-motivated.
- MS Office proficiency - highly computer literate in Outlook, Office 365, Word and Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to behave in such a manner at all times as to be an ambassador for the company.
**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month
