Hvac Regional Operations Manager

Are you a strategic and service-driven Operations Manager looking to drive operational excellence across technical services?

We are looking for an experienced and skilled results-focused **HVAC Regional** **Operations Manager** to oversee our Gauteng Regional operations, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure contractual and service delivery excellence. This leadership role plays a critical part in maintaining quality, performance, and compliance across multiple HVAC and technical service portfolios and projects within the SFI Group.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)**

As a **HVAC Operations Manager**, you will lead our Gauteng operations, focusing on service excellence, team performance, and business growth:

- ** Operational Leadership** - Manage daily operational performance across sites, ensuring high service levels and adherence to quality standards.
- ** Contract and SLA Management** - Oversee service level delivery across all contracts and client engagements nationally.
- ** People and Performance Management** - Lead a team of regional and site managers, ensuring clear KPI delivery, mentoring, and performance tracking.
- ** Client Engagement** - Foster and maintain strong client relationships, addressing escalations and ensuring service satisfaction.
- ** Compliance and Quality Control** - Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation, company policies, and QMS procedures.
- ** Reporting and Strategy** - Generate operational reports, analyze KPIs, and contribute to business planning and strategic execution.
- ** Project Oversight** - Support coordination of minor works and installations in collaboration with the Projects Department.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**

**Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HVAC Technical Operations or Facilities Environment (not limited to contractor management only).
- Experience managing large technical teams across multiple geographic sites.
- Experience with financial oversight and operational planning.
- Ability to negotiate vendor contracts and oversee supplier relationships.
- Strong track record working with SLAs, quality control standards, and risk mitigation strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- Red Seal Commercial Refrigeration Trade Certificate (beneficial)
- Relevant Diploma/Degree in Project Management, Technical/Facilities Management Qualification (preferred).
- 5 - 10 years of Technical HVAC experience (advantageous).
