As our business continues to expand Embelo are looking to take on a number of excellent individuals based in Cape Town (or willing to move at their own expense) with the ambition, drive, hard work ethic and aptitude to learn all the skills necessary and develop themselves (with our support), to eventually become Project Managers within the telecommunications industry. As a Junior/Trainee Project Manager you will be working and developing within a Team who manage every aspect of a project. This Team take responsibility post-acquisition and design, making all the necessary arrangements for each of our sites to be ready to receive our field engineers, through the build to site complete. Roles within this Team at all levels can be demanding and require someone who enjoys responsibility, problem solving, client management and has a commercial focus. We have opportunities for outstanding people to join us as Project Administrators, working as junior members of staff within our Deployment Project Management Department, you will be part of a friendly team working within the fast-moving telecoms sector. You will be required to participate in the organisation and coordination of our field workers, ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day schedules, preparation of associated reports and documentation as well as supporting our Project Management Team with other key tasks. You would be joining a busy mobile telecoms contracting company, with offices throughout the UK, and in South Africa, currently employing over 200 people. We require the role position to be filled at our South Africa office in Cape Town - working from home is not offered for this role. - **No previous experience is necessary - what will be critical is that you are someone who is hard working with a "can do attitude" who is serious about developing themselves and building/progressing their career.**_ **Key Role Responsibilities** - Answer and direct phone calls. - Organise and schedule works for the engineers. - Maintaining records and saving project information on correct folders /files. - Assist in office activities like ordering office supplies etc. - Data entry and maintaining project databases. - Preparation of site-specific risk assessments and method statements. - Negotiating and arranging access with individual site providers. - Raising permits on client portals. - Receipt and collation of site/project handover documentation. - Organise travel and accommodation for engineers and staff. **Required Experience and Skills** - Interested, enthusiastic, hard working and keen to learn with strong positive attitude. - Administration experience is ideal but not essential. - Computer literate with strong Word, Outlook, Excel and data management skills is essential. - Some basic telecoms or construction knowledge would be desirable, but not a requirement. **Working Hours** - Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm **Salary** - Dependent on experience. **Benefits**: - Company pension - Medical **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Ability to commute/relocate: - Cape Town, Western Cape 7493: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Administration: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: In person
