**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Management and facilitation of two onsite teams.
- Measure and prepare monthly progress payment certificates.
- Prepare, correlate and compile all documents and information that may be required

by the Engineer to assess and consider any claims submitted by the Contractor.
- Review of tender documentation, drawings and preparing quotes.
- Site supervision and monitoring to ensure that the project remains within budget and

complies with specifications.
- Implementation and adherence to quality management and quality control procedures.
- Monitor the site health & safety to ensure that safety protocols are followed, PPE, tools,

and equipment are used consistently.
- Accountable for the profitable and timely execution of all projects assigned.
- Resolve contract issues and conflicts promptly with the project owner, suppliers,

subcontractors, and other parties.
- Ensures daily job records and project documents are current and accurate.

**Experience, Knowledge and Skills**

least 8 years of experience working on roads and roads rehab projects and must be

professionally registered with either ECSA or SACPCMP.
- A valid Code 08 driver’s license with own transport is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction of pavement layers, asphalt surfacing and surfacing seals.
- Experience on SANRAL projects/understanding of SANRAL procedures is preferable.
- Experience with construction planning and works programming.
- Knowledge of FIDIC and COLTO/COTO.
- Computer literacy is essential, proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines and handle pressure
