**THE FOLLOWING POSITION IS AVAILABLE AT SIZA WATER**:
PROJECT MANAGER (REF: PMU/03/2024)

**The successful applicant is required to perform the following key functions, amongst other duties**:

- Lead and manage a team of employees within the PMU Department and represent the Company in external meetings.
- Manage and delegate budgeting, planning and execution of contribution funded projects as well as Siza Water funded projects.
- Delegate and manage projects, SLA’s, contracts management and servitude/property negotiations and registrations.
- Delegate and manage tender evaluations and adjudications.
- Master Planning and 5-year CAPEX plan.
- Improving business performance by innovations, better work procedures and efficiencies in all Siza Sites.
- Manage and delegate the maintenance and update of the water and sewer inventories.

**The applicant is required to have**:

- Matric with Maths and Science.
- B-Tech Degree: Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering
- Specialist fields in Water Engineering, Construction Management and Urban and Rural Engineering an added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- A valid code 8 driver’s license.
- Registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
- In-depth knowledge of the iLembe District water and sewer bylaws and related legislation.
