- Plan, organise, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory
- Train, supervise and evaluate performance of assigned warehouse employees, assign workloads to warehouse staff
- Manage receiving operation load by liaising with transporters, shipping lines, sales
- Plan container offloading, ensuring space is available in respective areas
- Manage batching of new products and control stacking and dispatching thereof
- Update dispatch plan schedule daily and advise Warehouse Controller timeously
- Responsible for returning empties to respective depots and ensuring no demurrage charges
- Prepare and maintain records of packing slips, damages report and regular updates to sales team as to stock received
- Use Kerridge inventory management to keep accurate records of inventory and daily processing transfers between locations
- Allocate equipment and resources to ensure receiving operates efficiently
- Responsible for and manage supplier breakages process
- Management of all FFC's (returns for credit)
- Perform various task as delegated by Senior Management as required

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Matric
- Diploma in Warehouse (preferable but not essential)
- 5+ years experience in a Warehouse Supervisory role
- Knowledge and experience on ERP system in warehousing
- Experience in fast paced environment with large volumes of receiving (containers) and despatching
- Fully computer literate on MS Office with advanced Excel skills
- Solid experience with space utilisation and inventory techniques
- Familiar with proper methods of storing equipment, materials and supplies
- Familiar with warehouse Health and safety regulations
- Knowledge of warehousing and stock control methods and procedures as well as methods of receiving, inspecting and issuing of materials
- Familiar with warehouse operations, procedures, equipment and terminology
- Must be willing to work alternate week ends and public holidays
