Creates test solutions incl. related test environment, coordinates product ramp up and drives continuous improvement topics.- Responsibilities of the Role- Estimates the scope of the test, selects, and defines the measuring and tests equipment or devices.
- Lead all substation secondary-plant technical designs and relevant project inputs (Protection, Control, Telecoms and Metering)
- Responsible for the support of project management of small/medium/large projects
- Supporting product and system testing, preparing standard test records and completing test documentation
- Adhering to safety standards while performing duties and performing acceptance testing with customers
- Following work plans and cost estimates for work in one’s area of responsibility, ensuring quality timely implementation within targeted cost
- Supporting risk assessments to assure safe systems of work and takes appropriate actions
- Assisting with customer or official contacts and communication pertaining to test assignments or meetings
- Using standard processes and tools and maintaining/calibrating the tools
- Assisting commissioning engineers on site or within a production environment

- Responsible for the management and coordination of multi-disciplinary project teams
- Take responsibility for budgets, resourcing and outsourcing of project work within the section, as well as agree project budgets with other sections on large projects comprising multi-disciplinary project teams
- Author competent technical reports of acceptable technical and presentational
- Check work of all those in the project team and take responsibility for their work
- Present / represent their technical work to internal and external stakeholders
- Regular clients contact under direction of project manager and/or peer and senior engineer
- Successful in identifying and following through on leads associated with additional work prospects on the projects they are involved with
- Train others in respective functional field
- Supervise Engineers or Technicians (internal and external) in undertaking checks and inspections of constructed works for compliance with design and specifications, including monitoring and proposing remedial actions
- Development of specific design procedures and technical related documentation
- Plan and coordinate investigations and surveys
- Coordinate work between function
- Respond on technical queries and propose solutions within the technical field
- Analysis the test sequences for potential improvements and carries out or initiate the required implementation measures.
- Ensures and participates in the systematic further development of the quality assurance system.
- Maintains the testing documentation and testing manuals.
- Schedules, organizes, and monitors the creation of test solutions.
