**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Representative to join their team. The sales representative will be responsible for promoting and selling light fittings, kitchen, bathroom accessories, and various other interior home fittings to customers. They will establish new clients and maintain relationships with existing clients, identify sales opportunities, and achieve sales targets.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to promote all products.
- Identify potential customers and generate leads through various channels, such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of the products.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products to meet their requirements.
- Provide accurate product information, pricing, and delivery details to customers.
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts, tracking sales performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the products and expand the customer base.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- At least 5 years proven experience as a sales representative or in a similar sales role.
- Knowledge of the industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Self-motivated and target-driven.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using sales software and CRM systems.
- Own reliable and roadworthy vehicle
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
- Must reside in Pretoria
