BCom Internal Audit

**Minimum**:
5 years’ experience of which at least 1-2 years should be in a Supervisory / Senior position

**Min Job Requirements**
- To comply with business processes
- Supervise a team of internal audit professionals
- Audit and review high risk areas and produce quality audit reports
- Facilitate risk workshops
- Manage smart sourcing solutions with external business partners
- Liaise extensively at senior level with internal partners
- Communicate results of audits to senior management
- Draft engagement letter to the auditee in accordance with the audit plan and submit to Group Internal Auditor for approval.
- Gains and applies extensive industry knowledge
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and assess compliance with policies and procedures
- Plan and priorities own activities and activities of the team in accordance to allocated time and prepare detailed Risk and Control Matrix (RCM).
- Execute audit according to the risk-based audit program to establish the adequacy of control and the compliance thereof.
- Discuss findings with client / auditee, process owner and auditee management for factual verification and validation of issues raised in the draft report and obtain management’s comments and action plans in rectifying the findings.
- Supervise staff within audit including performance contracts and specific audit and issues findings in relation to work
- Keep abreast of the organisation’s business, developments in the accounting and auditing professions, relevant technical developments, applicable regulations, and industry best practice.
- Conduct special audit investigations as and when required by the organization.
- Provide consulting and advising service to internal stakeholders as and when required, participate in ad hoc or special assignments and other related management requests as and when required
- Liaise with and aid external auditors as appropriate
- Deliver audit assignments in time and in accordance with the company’s methodology and as per agreed quality standards
