Job Title: Audit Senior

Location: Cape Town

Reports to: Audit Manager

RPO Recruitment is currently looking for experienced Senior Auditors to join our client's team in Cape Town. As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for planning and executing financial and operational audits, assessing risks, and providing valuable recommendations to enhance internal controls and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop audit objectives and strategies based on risk assessments
  2. Perform detailed testing of financial statements, internal controls, and business processes
  3. Identify control deficiencies and recommend improvements
  4. Prepare comprehensive audit reports
  5. Build and maintain effective relationships with clients
  6. Stay updated on relevant auditing standards and regulations
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  2. CPA or CIA certification preferred
  3. Minimum 3 years of experience in external or internal auditing
  4. Strong knowledge of auditing standards and practices
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  8. Proficiency in using auditing software and tools
  9. Willingness to travel as required
