**Risk Manager (DC Manager) - Gauteng - Riverfields DC**

**The Opportunity**:
The Risk Manager will oversee the DC risk management, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, loss of company Assets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing protection for personnel and company property through the management of security protocols. Developing, implementing and maintaining security policies to meet required codes and regulations.
- Conducts risk assessments, collecting and analyzing documentation, statistics, reports, and benchmarks ensure that our sites are well protected from risk.
- Establishes policies and procedures to identify and address risks on our sites.
- Reviews and assesses risk management policies and protocols; makes recommendations and implements modifications and improvements.
- Recommends and implements risk management solutions such as safety and security policies, business continuity plans, or recovery measures.
- Reviews and analyzes metrics and data such as inventory, breakage, and employee activity that could uncover fraudulent behavior.
- Drafts and presents risk reports and proposals to Logistics leadership and senior staff.
- Performs other duties as directed.

**Requirements**:

- Suitable qualification in Security Management. South African Security Certification. Further education in security administration or similar field will be an asset.
- Proven experience as security or similar position Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. access control systems, CCTV) Experience in reporting and emergency response planning Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures Experience in security regulatory affairs.
- Fluent English Results oriented Ability to work in a matrix organization Working knowledge of MS Office Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Outstanding organizational and leadership skills Committed and reliable.
