**Position Overview**: The Truck Controller will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fleet, managing drivers, and ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time and within safety regulations. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and monitor the daily schedules and routes for drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Manage and dispatch drivers according to operational needs and customer requirements.
- Maintain communication with drivers to provide updates, instructions, and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Monitor vehicle performance, maintenance schedules, and fuel usage.
- Keep accurate records of driver hours, mileage, and trip details.
- Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during transit, providing immediate solutions.
- Review and process delivery documents, logs, and reports.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimise route planning and load assignments.
- Assist in training, and evaluating drivers to maintain a high-performing team.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or transportation management is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the trucking or logistics industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in using dispatch and fleet management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
