This is a fun and innovative online chat room for coordinators and students, joining an online community to help non-English speakers develop their English-speaking skills. It is a flexible way for students to pop in and out for a chit-chat throughout their day.

It is a fun learning experience for you as there will be students from around the world, you will be able to learn more about their cultures and countries based on discussion topics, as they will about yours.

The job is a new role that TopUp Learning has introduced to its ranks. This job requires the applicant to encourage participation of all enrolled students throughout the service, whilst also ensuring customers follow the rules and policies of TopUp Learning by monitoring the activity in the chat rooms.

**What to expect from the job?**

The job is mainly a communicative role where the coordinator and students can discuss different topics.

The applicant needs to be able to start and maintain conversations on these different topics, such as asking questions to help guide the flow of discussions.

Students can pop into the chat at any time and stay for as long as they please.

This job is a mobile role and can be carried out at home or other places.

**Requirements: - No previous experience or qualifications needed**

The applicant can be any age from 18+
- English Language
- Communicative skills
- Patience - as the students may not be too fluent in speaking English and will be developing their speaking skills.
- Laptop or a device with a camera and access to the internet.
- You will be required to stay on camera for the length of your shift and wait for students to pop in and out of the chatroom.
- To maintain a calm and respectful environment throughout the discussions.
- To ensure the classroom rules are in place.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Part-time hours: 2-10 per week

**Salary**: R95 - R110 per hour
