Inherent requirements:

- Matric
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in Training or a related field
- 5 years’ experience in managing assessment and moderation processes for SETA accreditation learning programmes
- Comprehensive knowledge in SETA and QCTO regulations and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and assessment and moderation software
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage and develop teams
- Attention to detail, with the ability to ensure that all assessments and moderations processes are accurate fair and consistent

Preferred requirements:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders

Duties and responsibilities:

- Ensure that all assessment and moderation processes are compliant with SETA and QCTO regulations and standards
- Develop and implement assessment and moderation policies and procedures
- Manage and oversee the work assessment and moderation teams
- Ensure that all assessments are fair, valid, reliable and consistent
- Provide guidance and support to Trainers and Assessors
- Review and evaluate the quality of assessments and provide feedback and recommendation for improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including SETA and QCTO representatives
- Keep up to date with changes and developments in SETA and QCTO landscape and communicate these to relevant stakeholders
- Prepare and submit reports to senior management on assessments and moderation activities
