_**INYAMEKO, an employer of choice within the transport industry, is looking for a Contracts Managers to be based in Durban, KZN. The core function of this position is the overseeing, negotiating & managing of contracts within the company, ensuring compliance with legal standards, optimizing contract performance & ensuring sustainable business growth. The Key Responsibilities for this position are listed below**:_
- Contract Creation and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors to ensure favorable terms and compliance with legal requirements.
- Contract Management: Monitor and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, from initiation to completion or renewal, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate contracts for potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that all agreements align with the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including legal, finance, and operations, to develop contracts that support business goals and address any issues that arise during the contract lifecycle.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all contracts comply with relevant laws and regulations, conducting research as necessary to stay updated on changes in legislation.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries, clarifying terms and conditions with stakeholders.
- Bringing in new business, and ensuring sustainable business growth
- **Educational Background**: A degree in law, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Certification in contract management can be advantageous.
- **Experience**: Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of contract law and legal requirements.
- **Negotiation Skills**: Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to effectively manage discussions and reach agreements.
- **Attention to Detail**: High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Proficient in MS Office and contract management software.

Preference will be given to fuel industry experience

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal 4035: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelors (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Contracts Management: 5 years (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (required)
