SUMMARY AND PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

SCOPE OF WORK: DELIVERABLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
- Data mining and filtering and analysis of raw data.
- Create and present views from data
- Making use of Incident management systems to find efficiencies from data and make recommendations re the implementation thereof
- Investigation of any configuration related anomalies. Taking corrective actions on a case by case, provide investigation and escalation to higher level
- Perform bulk loads of CI data relevant to the area of responsibility.
- Analyze CI and security data and create views for consumption by operational teams and management
- Interact with vendors when required.
- Extract and analyze data from various sources.
- Produce reference data for use by operational teams and management
- Completing/contribution to reporting
- Completing/contributing to service or process documentation
- Communicate and where approved, ensure implementation of improvements/automation on processes on a continuous basis.
- Execute daily health checks.
- Daily report on overall system statuses (inter alia asset and security systems)

**Qualifications and Experience Requirements**
- ITIL v4 Foundation Certification understanding will be advantageous
- 5 years’ experience working with data, producing views and making efficiencies in a multi-disciplined IT environment
- Must be familiar with Service management issues and practices
- Experience in using structured methodologies for the analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation purposes
- Exposure to ITSM (Remedy) tools will be advantageous
- Exposure to BO reporting and or report writing skills
- Understanding of structured data systems and data analysis view software
